Train to Teach

Train to Teach with Excalibur

Teaching is a hugely rewarding career. It’s busy and demanding, but your role will never be dull – each day is different and brings with it unique sets of challenges.

You will be responsible for inspiring the next generation of learners – passing on your enthusiasm for learning and using your skills to allow young people to realise their talents and abilities and maximise their potential.

At Excalibur Academies Trust we believe that People are at the heart of what we are and what we do. We want to attract outstanding, inspirational, and talented people, support them to succeed, and celebrate their success. This journey starts with Initial Teacher Training, or even sooner with participation in our Teaching Internship programme.

Excalibur Academies Trust offers a PGCE programme in collaboration with Bath Spa University and Bristol University. This is a one-year non-salaried graduate training programme. Our students feel part of our school family and get the chance to learn on the job in at least two different schools in our cluster, with us, you will gain confidence, skills, and valuable experience. As a trainee, you will work alongside qualified teachers and provide a range of teaching and learning to ensure the progress of our pupils.
