Celebrating a Commitment to Wellbeing: Liden achieves a Mental Health in Schools Award
Liden Academy is delighted to be awarded the Swindon Mental Health and Wellbeing Quality Mark – a significant recognition of its ongoing commitment to promoting emotional wellbeing and positive mental health across the school community.
This award reflects the dedication and passion of Liden’s SEND and pastoral teams, who work tirelessly to create an environment where pupils feels valued, supported and understood. Through a range of targeted interventions, staff training and whole school wellbeing initiatives, Liden has placed mental health at the heart of its culture.
Jeff Mason, Principal of Liden Academy comments: “We are deeply honoured to accept this award, which recognises that mental health and emotional wellbeing are the foundations of effective learning and personal growth. Our approach ensures that all children, and in particular our most vulnerable learners, receive the care, understanding and support they need to thrive in and out of the classroom.
“I would like to recognise in particular the dedication of our SENCO, Linzi Lawrence, and our Pastoral Lead, Kelly Robinson who, together with the engagement of parents and carers, and trust and resilience of our pupils, shape Liden to be the special place it is.”
