As a new free school back in 2015, school decoration was simply not on the agenda for several years at The Wren – it was too busy growing a school!

As time passed, the school sought to brighten up its white-walled corridors, to bring it to life as a positive, vibrant learning environment. It knew there were companies out there who specialised in large scale, educational wall art for schools, and so by going for a complete corridor design, over four floors, it believes this has really made a visual impact, and hope it will inspire students for years to come.

Sustainability has always been important to The Wren, and as such it chose to go for a design which incorporated the natural world, along with curriculum facts from Science and Geography to extend learning outside of the classrooms. The project was top secret throughout, and when it finally revealed the design to students there was a collective gasp – they genuinely seemed thrilled by this addition to their school environment.
