New STEM Classroom Opens at Oare CofE Primary School
Oare CofE Primary School is excited to announce the opening of its brand-new STEM classroom, a dynamic space where pupils will have the opportunity to dive deeper into science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This new classroom is designed to provide pupils with hands-on, real-world learning experiences that go beyond the national curriculum, encouraging creativity and critical thinking through exciting projects and investigations.
The classroom is a product of collaboration and dedication from many in the Oare community. The school is incredibly grateful to the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and parents, who sourced the equipment and resources necessary to bring the space to life.
In addition to the STEM activities, the school has seen great success with its after-school cooking club, run by one of the school’s fantastic volunteers. The club has quickly become a favourite among pupils, offering a fun and engaging way to apply STEM concepts in the kitchen while learning valuable life skills.
The new STEM classroom is already a hub of activity, and the school is proud to extend an invitation to other local schools to use the space. This initiative reflects Oare Primary’s commitment to fostering a love of learning, collaboration, and community spirit, providing not just our own pupils, but others in the area, with the tools to explore and excel in the world of STEM.
