Jon Horsley, owner of Cadley Garage, recently presented St John’s Principal Mrs Nicky Edmondson with a donation of £1,000. Cadley Garage has supported St John’s for several years, by sponsoring events, and also by providing trees to be planted around the school.

“St John’s is an important part of our local community and I am very pleased to be able to support the school and its students” said Mr Horsley.

“I also wanted our business to be able to help offset the impact our customers vehicles have on the environment, so we plant a tree – usually at St John’s- for every vehicle service we carry out”.

Mrs Edmondson thanked Jon Horsley for his support “We are very grateful for the support of Cadley Garage. Building relationships with local businesses is very important to us, as they can offer a range of opportunities to our students. To also receive financial support is wonderful”.

Cadley Garage is also looking to employ a school leaver to train with them as an apprentice mechanic, leading to an Auto Electrical qualification. Anyone interested should contact Jon Horsley directly.
